Drawings by Quentin Blake
"This is some of the strongest, finest alcoholic cider money can buy. It burns your throat, boils your stomach and tastes almost exactly like pure melted gold." Mr fox

There is plenty of Cider to choose from in Dorset, but we believe we have found some of the best. Penny and Oliver Strong provide us with Dorset Nectar made not a stone’s throw from our house in west Dorset. Roger’s cider is often on tap while occasionally we travel abroad to Somerset to pick up Cider Brandy and the like from Julian Temperley for our cocktails.

The aim is to serve up and enjoy excellent cider, made by good people in the right way. All liquids arising from the noble apple are sipped, along with local ales, (because sometimes, we like a beer).

We have served cider at all manner of events, be they fairly large festivals or miniature borrower parties. We enjoy all of it. Our bar can do a telescopic act and transform to fit the number and average height of customers. For shelter from the storm, our old tent does a tip top job.
